SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

The CSO Growing Leaders Programme 2013 was launched on 24 and 25 January at the Good Shepherd Retreat Centre. The first session “Spirituality of Leadership” was facilitated by Raymond Perrier, and the second session “Ethos and Pastoral Care” was facilitated by Madeleen Gorst-Allman and Sonja Swart. The main focus is on key aspects of leadership and management within the framework of a Catholic and Christian Ethos.  The third session, “Dealing with and through people”, took place at Marist Brothers Linmeyer and was facilitated by Gary Norton and Mike Thiel.  The remaining three sessions will  continue throughout the year, with a host of topics facilitated by some of our School Principals. The sessions will consist of home preparation, a full day seminar and a home assignment.  All sessions will contain some theoretical input plus a practical hands-on component, and will be held at a different schools in Johannesburg.
