About our school

St. Paulus Pre-Primary and Primary School – Pretoria’s best-kept secret – is an Independent Dual-Medium (English and Afrikaans) co-educational Catholic School which opened its doors over 50 years ago. It is a member of ISASA and the CSB and its structured curriculum offering holistic education – educating body, mind and spirit - equips our pupils to move to the forefront and to excel in High School. It’s well-equipped, modern facilities nestle against a koppie which is a green-belt in the quiet suburb of Brummeria.

The 26 hectare campus is covered by hundreds of well-established indigenous trees. As one enters the front-entrance, easily accessible from most Eastern suburbs and within close proximity to the CSIR and well-established shopping centres, one has a sense of peace – being away from it all – as one is surrounded by the beauty of the fauna and flora, the tranquil Meditation Garden, the manicured sports fields and the sound of the more than 75 species of birds nesting in the trees.

St Paulus is committed to stewardship of Creation. We Re-Use, Reduce, Recycle and Re-think the way in which we use earth and its resources.

Ours is a “Safe-School” – we have a fully implemented Anti-Bullying Policy and take a stand against all forms of bullying.
