About our school

Loreto School Queenswood is an independent co-ed Catholic Primary School, accepting learners from 4 years old to Grade 7, from any denomination.

Located in the leafy suburb of Queenswood, it was founded as a result of the pioneering vision of one ordinary woman, Mary Ward, who instructed her students to do ordinary things well.

When you join a Loreto school, whether as a member of staff or as a student, you join an organisation which has an outstanding pedagogical tradition, rooted in the Gospel values of Freedom, Sincerity and Justice.

You also join an international organisation of 119 Loreto schools in 12 countries on 6 continents.

Students here, enjoy a teacher-student ratio of 1:25, a brand new science lab, a well-stocked library, and well equipped classrooms. Improvements to all our facilities are on-going.

We believe in holistic education, and therefor do community outreach on a regular basis, and dispose of our waste in a responsible, eco-friendly manner. Come and join our Loreto family and see what a difference the right school can make!
